Former Krasnodar Coach Murad Musaev to Lead Club in Azerbaijan

Former head coach of FC Krasnodar, Murad Musaev, will continue his work in Azerbaijan. The specialist has agreed to head FC Sabah. This information was shared by ‘Championat’.

A few days earlier, it became known that Musaev met with representatives of Sabah. Nothing was known about how the negotiations went, however, rumors about the imminent appointment began to leak. Now, sources familiar with the situation confirm this.

Recall that the management removed Murad Musaev from his position as head coach of Krasnodar in the 2020/2021 season after the team lost to Tula’s Arsenal (0:5). Before that, things for the Bulls were also not going well, however, Musaev had a huge credit of trust, which is a luxury in Russian football. Unfortunately, it was not possible to turn the situation around.

As for Sabah, in the last season, the team finished in 5th place, earning 29 points after 28 matches. In the current season, the team has won only 1 victory in 8 matches, has 4 points, and is at the bottom of the league table.
