Such information was released today by the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA). All these tennis players were suspended from matches back in July, however, it was only now that the suspicions were confirmed with evidence.
Among those found guilty:
Amin Ahouda has been suspended for 11 years and fined $5,000.
Anas Chakroun has been suspended for 10 years and fined $5,000.
Ayoub Chakroun has been suspended for life and fined $10,000.
Mohamed Zakaria Khalil has been suspended for 9 years and fined $5,000.
Soufyane El Mezbaahi has been suspended for 9 years and fined $5,000.
Yassir Kilani has been suspended for 9 years and fined $5,000.
Given the suspension lengths, it can be concluded that the professional careers of the athletes are over.
