The CSKA and Croatia national team midfielder Nikola Vlasic may continue his career at Monaco. Several clubs were actively interested in the player, but the Monegasques offered the amount that the ‘army men’ initially requested. This information was shared by journalist Rudy Galetti.
Earlier, Vlasic was closely linked with a move to Milan. The Serie A representative asked to take the Croatian on loan for 1 year and pay CSKA € 5 million, and then have the option to buy the player for € 20 million plus bonuses. CSKA did not consider such an option; the ‘army men’ wanted to receive € 30 million.
Nikola Vlasic appealed to the management of the capital club to make concessions and sell him for a reasonable price instead of deliberately inflating the price. However, CSKA refused to make concessions.
According to new information, the head coach of Monaco Niko Kovac is very interested in the services of the Croatian footballer, and his club is ready to allocate € 30 million plus bonuses. That is exactly what CSKA initially asked for the transfer of one of their main stars.
So far, the ‘army men’ have not reacted to this information, and there is no official confirmation of Rudy Galetti’s words.
